What is the FHABC Speaker Series?
The FHABC speaker series is a monthly autumn (September – December) speaker series held online for our membership and the general public. Our talks are available live online and where acceptable to our speakers also shared on our YouTube channel. We try to have four talks over the season.
Unless otherwise noted, our talks are at 7:00-8:00 PM PST.

As of 2024, we are seeking in particular to expand our subject matter to include:
- ‘Local Voices, Local Stories’ – a collection of regional forest and landscape histories, from both settler and Indigenous backgrounds.
- Industrial and worker histories
- Histories of particular government programs, research programs, etc.
- Ecological and environmental histories.
