Announcing details of the 2016 Forest History Assn of BC Annual General Meeting. Friday Sept 23 - Sunday Sept 25, Powell River. Specifics below and ferry connections and hotel specifics at very end. A warm and heartfelt thank you to retiring board members Mike Apsey, Edo Nyland, Barbara Coupe and Stan Chester. A special thanks to Stan for his tireless efforts as President for the past 16 years! The FHABC is looking for at least four new board members, and will be electing a new president at the AGM. Please come out and support your Association at this important meeting.

Saturday Sept 24. AGM. Breakfast: at the hotel; or Tim Hortons/A&W close by (1 minute walk) AGM to be held at PR Historical Museum Admin Building, 4798 Marine Ave - hotel to museum distance is 1.4 km Lunch – Museum: Sandwiches, tea, coffee, water, juice etc ordered in. Hotel: Powell River Town Centre Hotel. Individual reservations must call direct to our hotel and quote the group name prior to booking in order to be quoted the proper group rate.
